Bio Engineering Capital is pleased to announce our sponsorship of the Hokkaido Medical AI Business Plan Contest 2025, which will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025.

Organized by the Medical AI Research and Development Center at Hokkaido University Hospital and other partners, this contest offers graduate students and young university faculty an opportunity to present and receive feedback on innovative business ideas that utilize AI in the fields of medicine, healthcare, wellness, and eldercare. The contest aims to support entrepreneurship and the social implementation of research outcomes.

In line with our mission to foster innovation in regional healthcare, Bio Engineering Capital supports the purpose of this initiative and is proud to serve as a sponsor. We will also present the “Bio Engineering Capital Award” to one or more outstanding proposals, which includes a startup support grant.

In addition, our representative, Mr. Shimabara, who also serves as a part-time lecturer on medical AI at Hokkaido University, is scheduled to give a lecture during the event (details to be announced at a later date).
